Friends of Southwest Library
This group is the civic arm of the Southwest Library. They support the library and its members through book sales throughout the year.
Southwest Neighborhood Assembly
The Southwest Neighborhood Assembly (SWNA) is a private, non-profit citizens’ organization.
The Southwester is the official newspaper of the SWNA. Supported by volunteer writers, this community newspaper reports on everything from SWNA meetings to community events and updates.
SW Gardens at Lansburg Park
This community garden opened July 2013, and grows food for volunteers and the neighborhood . Anyone is welcome to volunteer during open work days!
Waterfront Gateway Neighborhood Association
The Waterfront Gateway Neighborhood Association is an affiliation of eight home owners' associations representing nearly 900 households, and over 1,900 residents, in the area immediately south of the National Mall
