Friends of Southwest DC Friends of Southwest DC supports non-profit organizations in SW DC by making small grants for educational, community development and charitable programs.
Friends of Southwest Library This group is the civic arm of the Southwest Library. They support the library and its members through book sales throughout the year.
PAWS of Southwest A nonprofit community organization comprising dog owners and residents in the ANC-6D neighborhood of SW Washington, DC. The PAWS of Southwest is building community through a love of dogs.
Southwester The Southwester is the official newspaper of the SWNA. Supported by volunteer writers, this community newspaper reports on everything from SWNA meetings to community events and updates.
Southwest Neighborhood Assembly The Southwest Neighborhood Assembly (SWNA) is a private, non-profit citizens’ organization.
SW Community Gardens at Lansburg Park This community garden opened July 2013, and grows food for volunteers and the neighborhood. Anyone is welcome to volunteer during open work days.
Waterfront Gateway Neighborhood Association The Waterfront Gateway Neighborhood Association is an affiliation of eight home owners' associations representing nearly 900 households, and over 1,900 residents, in the area immediately south of the National Mall.
Waterfront Village Association The Waterfront Senior Village Association offer services to older Southwest DC residents including home maintenance, assistance with shopping and medical appointments, health and fitness counseling, and social events.
